ഞാൻ, ഗാസയിലെ അമ്മ,
മിസൈലുകളുടെ മൂളലിൽ
കരച്ചിൽ മുങ്ങിപ്പോയവൾ,
ബോംബുകളുടെ പുകയിൽ
കണ്ണു കാണാതായവൾ

I, a mother of Gaza,
amidst the trill of missiles
with cries submerged,
In the fumes of bombs
I have now turned blind

ഞാൻ, ഗാസയിലെ അമ്മ,
ചോരയിൽ കുളിച്ച കുഞ്ഞുമായി
അവർ ബോംബിട്ടുതകർത്ത
ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് ഓടുന്നവൾ
വഴിയിൽ തടുത്തുനിർത്തി
മാന്തികീറപ്പെട്ടവൾ

I, am a mother of Gaza
running with the blood bathed child
to the hospitals they have felled,
to get harangued and raped
on the street corners

ഞാൻ ഗാസയിലെ അമ്മ,
സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും കെട്ടുപോയവൾ,
മരണങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു മരവിച്ചവൾ
കടലിലും കരയിലും അഭയമില്ലാത്തവൾ
കൂട് തകർന്ന കിളിയെപ്പോലെ
നാരുകൾ തേടി പറക്കുന്നവൾ

I am Gaza's mother,
She who lost the sun and moon
Dead by bearing deaths
Exiled in the shores and seas
Like a bird from a broken nest,
searching for something of a strand.
